What FeedGuard collects, why it collects it, and who else can see it.

Who we are

FeedGuard is operated by RevenueDo and served at feedguard.peppertree.so. This policy covers FeedGuard only; other RevenueDo products publish their own.

Questions about your data go to [email protected].

What we collect

We collect the minimum needed to run the service, in four categories:

  • Account: your email address, and your name if you provide one.
  • Billing: your Paddle customer reference, plan, subscription status and renewal date. Card numbers never reach our servers; Paddle handles them.
  • Monitoring setup: whatever you configure FeedGuard to watch, such as product URLs, store or account identifiers, and the thresholds at which you want to be alerted.
  • Alert history: the alerts we generated for you, including their contents and when they were sent and read.

What we do not collect

We do not run advertising or cross-site tracking scripts. We do not sell, rent or share your data with advertisers or data brokers. We never store a password for you, because sign-in uses an emailed link instead of one.

How we use it

We use your data to run FeedGuard and nothing else: to check the sources you asked us to watch, to send the alerts you signed up for, to bill you, to answer your support requests, and to fix the service when it breaks.

We do not use your monitoring data to train machine-learning models.

Who else sees it

We rely on a small number of service providers, each of which sees only the data it needs to do its job:

  • Railway: application hosting and the PostgreSQL database that stores your account
  • Paddle: payment processing and merchant of record for every subscription
  • Resend: delivery of sign-in links and alert emails
  • Sentry: error reports used to diagnose failures
  • Slack, or any webhook endpoint, only if you set one up yourself, and only the alerts routed to it.

Sign-in and cookies

Signing in emails you a single-use link that stops working after 15 minutes. Using it sets one cookie holding your session, which lasts 30 days or until you sign out.

That cookie is strictly necessary to keep you signed in. We set no analytics or advertising cookies.

How long we keep it

We keep your account, monitoring setup and alert history for as long as your account exists.

Email [email protected] to delete your account and we will remove it along with your monitoring setup and alert history. Billing records are the exception: tax and accounting rules require Paddle and us to retain them after deletion.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] from your account address and we will respond within 30 days.

Depending on where you live you may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.

Where your data lives

Our servers and database are hosted in the United States. If you use the service from elsewhere, your data is transferred there.

Children

FeedGuard is a business tool and is not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your data we will update this page and the date at the top of it. Material changes are announced by email before they take effect.
